Hermann’s tortoise (Testudo hermanni) is a small-sized tortoise. Its scientific name is derived from the French naturalist named Jean Hermann. Hermann tortoises are distributed across southern Europe.”
Dandelion is one of our newest additions to the farm animal family, she is a four year old Hermann’s tortoise who was donated to us by a member of staff. As she is still young it has been important for us to prevent her from hibernating over the winters. She loves being hand fed all sorts of plants and veggies and making a mess in her enclosure. We bathe her everyday as she is a pampered princess.
Warm baths and peas.
We don't like
Dandelions (very weird considering she was named after them)
